Congratulations Boeing, Suppliers, and Aviators on the new 787 Flight
The innovative 787 has made its debut!
/
Chief pilot Mike Carriker remarked that “They made a plan when times were good. . . and then we went through some hard times, but they didn’t change the plan. That was a just a class act.” Speaking of decision-makers at Boeing.
/
He also had high praise for the designers, engineers, suppliers and others who made this flight possible.
/
Two of the key design elements of this aircraft are reduced engine noise and increased fuel efficiency. Those things are becoming more important as noise restrictions and other regulations proliferate.
/
Keeping up with changing technology and regulation requires constant effort and study. We never stop learning something new about aviation.
/
We’re proud that Boeing uses our Summit Aviation Digital Reference Library.
/
The Digital Reference Library provides an easy way to do research quickly so that our customers can spend more time doing what they love – designing, innovating, and flying!
